All surgical procedures are accompanied by a certain degree of risk, whether the procedures are for medical or cosmetic reasons.  Buttock sculpting is performed by using your own fat removed with liposuction. For this reason, your body will not reject this tissue.

Our expert team is dedicated to making your operation go smoothly.  We carefully review your medical history and current health condition before deciding if it is safe for you to proceed with surgery.  It is important that you fully disclose all pertinent information so that we are able to make an accurate assessment of the risks involved.  We will take every necessary precaution to reduce the possibility of any complications.

The length of recovery is between three to four (3 - 4) weeks but, with proper instructions including postoperative exercises and ice packs, the first 72 hours the patient will be able to return to work within two weeks.   Bruises usually disappear within a few days and most swelling is gone in a matter of weeks.  If you follow our post-operative instructions carefully, you will be able to enjoy your normal activities within no time.  Your scars will fade over time and will be very small.  We take care to conceal any scars so that they are barely visible, if at all.

Buttock sculpting is a combination of various procedures to remove fat from certain aesthetics units like the flank, back abdomen, and medial thigh. Such fat is later added to other areas like hips and the buttock. This allows the surgeon to better “sculpt” your final appearance.  You will wear a body garment for about three to four (3 - 4) weeks because of the amount of liposuction performed. This will really help redrape the skin to the right position accentuating the buttock area.

During your initial consultation, we will discuss your desired changes and expectations, review your medical history and current health, and make an assessment on whether the procedure(s) in question is/are right for you.  This is a good time to ask specific questions about the procedure(s) so that you are fully prepared mentally and emotionally for surgery.  We will discuss the results that can be achieved with the aid of photos and/or computer imaging.  When a final decision is made, you will need to sign an informed consent stating that you are fully aware and understand what is entailed by your pending operation, including the potential complications and secondary effects.

A:     You will be able to sit for a short period of time for any body necessity. Regardless, you will need to lie on your stomach during leisure time and when sleeping for about seven to ten (7 - 10) days.  After this, we will give you a specialized cushion to relieve any pressure from the buttock area. You will also wear a garment for three to four (3 - 4) weeks.
